New windows, doors, fascias and soffits of the Bedford suite at Woburn Golf Club

Location: Woburn, Milton Keynes. Bedfordshire

We recently had the privilege to replace the windows, doors, fascias and soffits of the Bedford suite at Woburn Golf Club, near Milton Keynes, in Bedfordshire.

The purpose of the installation was to replace the existing timber framed and single glazed windows and doors, it was also requested that a number of updates were made including the fascias and soffits. Aluminium products were used to offer a sleek aesthetic. They also have the added benefits of high thermal retention and are incredibly weather resistant which means that they are low maintenance with a long lifespan. It was suggested that french doors were added and we also installed tilt and turn windows and a smart aluminium ‘Visoglide plus’ sliding doors to offer the flexibility of opening up the space onto the terrace area in the warmer months.

The installation retained the original terra brown colour (in keeping with the existing doors and windows) whilst combining a more contemporary style, with robust performance and will also deliver a superior thermal performance. It also obviously maintains the stunning views of the surrounding area and maximises light in the suite. The Trueline aluminium fascia and soffits complement the windows and doors perfectly and again provide a long-lasting minimum maintenance solution.

The end result has successfully updated this area of the club and given it a more contemporary feel, whilst still working well with the overall look of the golf club.

There are now more exits to the area with the added flexibility of opening the suite up in the warmer months whilst giving all the practical benefits of thermal efficiency in the colder months.
